Studio Update 22.02.2010

Posted by Scott in Main Updates on 22-02-2010

This weekend we’ve been in the studio, recording tracks for our first ever demo. It’s coming along well and we have some drum and guitar tracks down. We’ll try and update you with videos but this is proving to be a hard task since we don’t have a camcorder to record all the footage but we’ve still got some studio footage.

Anyway we’re back in the studio on the 06/03/2010, so I’ll be reporting back soon. There will be many surprises on this release and in general with the band. I hope everybody enjoys it!

It seems we’re going to be writing some new stuff and hopefully lots of it, of course things are always slow but we will pick up. Hopefully in early 2010 we can start recording our first Demo/EP (I’d love for it to be released in 2009 but 2010 is the way forward). We hope to have lots of gigs lined up for next year and hopefully we’ll do a few to end the year but overall we’ll be seeing everybody next year we’ll be exploring and visiting new places and we hope to see everyone and those who haven’t heard us should check us out!

It seems myspace no longer supports our old link (/bludveramusic) the only link to our myspace from now on is http://www.myspace.com/bludvera

We’ve prepared a new song and also a new cover for the tribute gig on 7th November. One of the bands have dropped out of the lineup so everyone is most probably going to have extended setlists.

This is what our setlist might consist of:
Tools of Bloodshed
Maniac
Submerged By Death
Endless War
Infection
New Song
New Cover
This will be quite a lengthy set and also our longest ever played set to date.

Anyway, I’m (Scott) off to London on Wednesday maybe i’ll promote the band and/or write new material. Also me and Kris are off to see German Thrash Metal Legends DESTRUCTION this Saturday in Leeds Damnation Festival.

Good question. We haven’t posted in awhile that’s because we’re writing new material. We already have a song which is nearly completed and we have some ideas for more tracks. Then we will probably practise some more so we’re ready to play these songs live, start gigging again and then finally get in to the studio and record our demo. We would like to announce we might be dropping some of our previous tracks for the demo because they are inferior to others.

Anyway stick around and thanks for reading!

P.S. My idea for a podcast is still in my mind. When will the first installment be available? Who knows.
